WWE: No Mercy 2017 Predictions (Audio)

WWE RAW, Little Caesars Pizza, and Mountain Dew presents WWE No Mercy live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt:
I’ve enjoyed the promos and storytelling in this feud post-Summerslam. Bray has made it known that Finn is nothing without his makeup and face paint.

Bray is letting us know that he no reason to fear regular Finn Balor. For that reason, I think Bray Wyatt is beating Finn Balor tonight.

Bray is notorious for being the ‘eater of pins’, but he’s going to beat Finn Balor which will subsequently give us Demon Balor. When we get Demon Balor then we’ll see a Finn Balor win.
Winner: Bray Wyatt

WWE Cruiserweight Championship — Neville (c) vs. Enzo Amore:
I swear I remember hearing Enzo Amore had a ton of heat and that he was on the verge of being fired. Now, he’s fighting Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship?

I don’t think they’d actually do it, but then again it is WWE and they may put the title on Enzo to shock everyone. I personally think Enzo is already over enough without the title, so he doesn’t need it.

I think Neville retains it tonight and Enzo keeps going after Neville and maybe he wins it next month at TLC.
Winner: Neville

WWE Intercontinental Championship — The Miz (c) vs. Jason Jordan:
This storyline has been absolute garbage. The crowd has done a poor job of reacting to Jason Jordan since he was revealed as Kurt Angle’s illegitimate child. It’s almost as if they know this is stupid.

I don’t understand why they would ever take the Intercontinental Championship off of The Miz. He’s going to continue his journey to become the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time.

I don’t know where Jordan goes from and I know the fans won’t care, so why waste time by putting the title on him?
Winner: The Miz

WWE RAW Tag Team Championship — Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro:
I know that there will be a heel turn somewhere down the line for either Ambrose or Rollins. Sheamus and Cesaro will win the tag titles back eventually, but I don’t think it happens tonight.

I think AmbRollins continues to run through the RAW Tag Team division, so it seems they’re actually a tag team long term. After a few months, I think we see the heel turn happen.
Winners: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

WWE RAW Women’s Championship — Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Bayley:

I wouldn’t have a problem with any of these women winning the RAW Women’s Championship. I don’t think it’s going to be Bayley, Sasha Banks, or Emma.

I expect to see one of two things:
Either Nia Jax completely dominates this match and Alexa steals the win or Alexa berates Nia during the match which results in Nia turning on Alexa. It’s almost like Shawn Michaels and Diesel in 94/95.

All in all, I think tonight is the the night that we see the girl that’s not like most girls win the RAW Women’s Championship. It’ll mean even more for their feud if Nia pins Alexa too.
Winner: Nia Jax

WWE Universal Championship — Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman:
Braun Strowman singlehandedly dominated Brock Lesnar every time they’ve faced off. I think they’re allowing Braun to look strong because he’s losing to Lesnar tonight. I think the end of Lesnar will be at Wrestlemania 34 when Roman Reigns beats him.

Braun will look good against Brock and it will be a competitive match, but I expect Brock to deliver a couple of F5’s to get the win. The crowd will pop massively if Braun completely no sells an F5 in the match too.
Winner: Brock Lesnar

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns:
This is the match that everyone has been waiting for. Both of these guys have gone back and forth every week with their cursing and verbal jabs and now it all culminates to this match.

Before I get into my prediction, I need to address my beef with WWE. Why did they put Roman Reigns out there in a verbal spat with John Cena? Roman isn’t quite ready to go toe to toe with someone like Cena on the mic.

Roman wasn’t a pushover on the mic at all, but some of his stuff just didn’t translate well with the audience. I think he’s winning tonight though.

Cena is going off to film the new Transformers movie in Hollywood, so he doesn’t benefit from a win if he won’t be there. I think Cena goes away until the Royal Rumble and he returns in the match to face off with Reigns again.
Winner: Roman Reigns
